The District Calendar allows administrators to define the days their students are expected to work in the system. For example, if students are only expected to work Monday through Thursday, set this schedule up in the calendar. Feel free to add/remove days to match the district's schedule.
To follow the steps listed below, you will need to have "Set District Calendar" checked under District and School Settings. To validate your permissions, click here.
Any items added to the District Calendar will immediately affect the entire student population. All assignment calendars and progress reports will be instantly updated to reflect changes.
Be sure to take note of any days removed from the district calendar when setting the start and target dates. To accurately report progress, make sure that those dates set in the course options do not fall within a holiday or break on the district calendar.
