Setting a Secure Station for Students

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Full Classroom Access and Limited Classroom Access?

  • Full Classroom Secure Station- forces the registration screen to appear, but students will have access to all activities and assessments.
  • Limited Classroom Secure Station- grants students access to the program. Assessments are hidden while students are not at school. All other activities are not limited to students being at school.
    • Students cannot take assessments from a Limited Access computer. This includes quizzes, tests, exams, pretests, diagnostic tests, and prescriptive tests. They will have access to the lab assessments.
    • Limited Access can be used to ensure that students are proctored while taking assessments.
    • If a student completes all activities in a course except for one or more assessments, the course status will display as "Pending." Students will also see the designation of "Pending Complete" in the Virtual Classroom.
