Finding an Essay from the Student Grade Page to Change Score

Does the Edgenuity auto-scoring for essays check for plagiarism?

No. However, teachers who suspect a student has plagiarized an essay (or any written assignment) can copy and paste the student’s response into a search engine such as Google to check for online instances of the original text.

Use this page to view a student's submitted essay.

To follow the steps listed below, you will need to have "Change Grades" checked under Gradebook Options. To validate your permissions, click here.

  1. Find the essay. Expand the unit and lesson of the essay needing graded. The activities within the submitted essay are listed.

    If coming from the Dashboard, the lesson may already be expanded.

  2. Click Revising.

  3. Click View.

If an educator already knows what score he/she wants to assign, click Change Score on the right side of the screen instead of pushing ViewChange score button under selected activity.png
