Prescriptive Testing for Multiple Courses

When prescriptive testing is turned on, each student's course will begin with a test that presents one question per lesson. If students get the question associated with a lesson correct, that lesson will not be included in their course. If they get the question incorrect, the associated lesson will be included in their course.

To follow the steps listed below, you will need to have "Edit Course Options" checked under School Courses. To validate your permissions, click here.

  1. Under the Courses tab, select Manage Courses.

  2. Find the courses with the filters or the search bar.

  3. Checkmark the courses. Click Edit Course Options.

  1. Click the down arrow next to Prescriptive Testing.
  2. Decide which option you want for Prescriptive Testing. If you enable the feature, determine what time limit you want set. If you opt for the non-default option, state the time limit you want in the box.

    By enabling or disabling prescriptive testing, you will be changing the setting for all students in the course.

  3. If done, click Next. To find out about other course options, click here.
  4. You will be asked which changes to the enrollments you want to make. Select the radio dial next to your choice. Then click Next.
  5. A notification window will ask you to confirm you want to make these changes. Click Submit.
  6. A confirmation window will let you know your changes were submitted. Click OK.
