Managing Courses- Columns Shown

Use this page if you want to change the columns on the Manage Courses page.
  1. Under the Courses tab, select Manage Courses.

  2. Select the gear icon 1.1.png.

  3. Checkmark the column titles you want to see populated on the Manage Courses page.
    • School- a course exists in only one school, listed in this column.
    • Teachers- if one teacher is assigned to a course, that teacher is listed in this column. This column also shows the total number of teachers assigned to a course if more than one teacher is assigned.
    • Short Course ID- each course is assigned a unique identifier used by our support staff to assist with research.
    • Long Course ID- each course is also assigned a unique GUID, or global unique identifier, which is used by our support staff to assist with research.
    • Master Build Key- each Edgenuity base course (Algebra I, Physical Science, Survey of U.S. History, etc.) is assigned a build key which is used by our support staff to assist with research, shown in this column.
    • External Course Code- if your school or district is utilizing one of our integration options, you may be required to utilize the external course code, included in this column when used.
    • Legacy Master ID- some Edgenuity base courses (Algebra I, Physical Science, Survey of U.S. History, etc.) are also assigned a legacy build key which is used by our support staff to assist with research, shown in this column.
    • Subject- the subject of the course (Elective, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies).
    • Grade- the recommended grade level of the course, only visible to educators and not to students.
    • Series- the category of course as assigned by Edgenuity staff. For example, an Advanced Placement course would have an 'AP' series name.
    • Students- the total number of actively assigned enrollments.
    • Edition- the status of the course:
      • Current: the course is the most recent edition available.
      • Previous: there is a more current version of the course available, but this course is still supported.
      • Unsupported: the course is no longer actively supported by Edgenuity and errors will not be fixed. The course might not meet your state's current standards. You should archive the course as soon as possible and begin using the newest version.

  4. Select Save Configuration.
