Setting Start Dates for Multiple Enrollments

The start date is the date that students are expected to begin working on their coursework. As long as the course is active, the student can work on any activities prior to the start date, but all reporting will be based off the date set as the start date. If not manually changed, it will automatically be set to the date the students were first enrolled in the course

To follow the steps listed below, you will need to have "Change Start Dates for Multiple Enrollments" and "Manage Enrollments in Bulk" checked under Student Enrollments.  To validate your permissions, click here.

District Administrators or someone with the permission to Set District Calendar, should set it up to exclude any days students are not expected to work on the coursework. Setting the calendar will provide more accurate assignment calendars and progress reporting for students. 

  1. Under the Courses tab, select Manage Enrollments.

  2. Click the Filters button.

  3. Add or remove filters to manage specific enrollments. Select Apply

  1. Checkmark the students needing to have their start date changed.

  2. Click Change Start Date.

  3. Specify a date. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.

  4. Click Change Start Date.

  5. A confirmation window will show the changes were made successfully. Click OK.
